Private beta
Terms of Service
Last updated: July 16, 2026
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms govern your use of the Obsessify website and private beta (the “Service”). By joining the waitlist, creating or using an account, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it.
2. What Obsessify does
Obsessify uses artificial intelligence to turn topics into structured learning paths, lessons, quizzes, challenges, related-topic branches, and content-discovery suggestions. The Service may also save your paths, progress, achievements, and usage information so you can continue later.
3. Private-beta accounts
Access is currently limited and may require an invitation. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, keeping your sign-in credentials secure, and activity performed through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
4. Your topics and other content
You keep any rights you have in topics, instructions, feedback, or other content you submit (“User Content”). You give Obsessify a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, transform, transmit, and display User Content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and support the Service.
Shared course cache
Obsessify may classify a broad, reusable learning topic—and the learning path generated from it—as public. Public topics and paths may appear in search suggestions or the topic ticker and may be reused by other users. Topics that appear personal, sensitive, or specific to a person, business, or location are intended to remain private to your account. This classification is automated and may make mistakes, so do not submit passwords, financial account numbers, private health records, confidential business information, or anything else you would not want exposed.
For User Content classified as public, your license also allows Obsessify to make that content visible and reusable through the Service. You promise that you have the rights needed to submit your User Content and that it does not violate another person’s rights or the law.
5. AI-generated content
AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, repetitive, or inappropriate. It may not be unique, and another user may receive similar content. Review important information independently before relying on it. Obsessify does not provide medical, legal, financial, safety, or other professional advice, and the Service is not a substitute for a qualified professional.
You are responsible for deciding whether generated content is suitable and lawful for your use, including checking sources, permissions, and intellectual-property rights.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- break the law, violate another person’s rights, or encourage harmful or fraudulent conduct;
- upload malware or attempt to disrupt, probe, reverse engineer, or bypass Service security;
- evade account, quota, access, or rate limits;
- scrape or automate access in a way that burdens the Service or is not authorized by us;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your connection to a person or organization; or
- use generated content as verified professional advice or as the sole basis for a high-stakes decision.
7. Third-party services and links
The Service relies on third-party providers, including Supabase, Vercel, Anthropic, and Resend, and may link to services such as YouTube or other community and learning sites. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices. Obsessify does not control or endorse third-party content and is not responsible for its availability, accuracy, or safety.
8. Ownership of the Service and feedback
Obsessify’s software, design, name, branding, and other Service materials are owned by the Service operator or its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership of the Service to you.
If you send suggestions or feedback, you allow Obsessify to use them without restriction or payment, but you are not required to provide feedback.
9. Free beta; no payment terms yet
The current beta is free and may include usage limits. Obsessify does not currently charge subscription or purchase fees through the Service. If paid features are introduced later, you will receive separate pricing and payment terms before you are charged, and you will not be charged without an affirmative choice to purchase.
10. Beta availability and changes
The Service is experimental. Features may change, fail, be limited, or be removed without notice. We do not promise uninterrupted access, permanent storage, specific results, or that the Service will remain available. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may email us to request account deletion. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the Service or others, or when needed to operate or conclude the private beta. Where practical, we will try to provide notice.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Service and all generated or third-party content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, or security. Some laws do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Obsessify and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from the Service. The total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid Obsessify for the Service during the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply where the law does not permit them.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the beta changes. The “Last updated” date will show when they changed. If a change is important, we will take reasonable steps to provide additional notice. Continuing to use the Service after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
15. General terms
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about the Service. If one provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without permission; Obsessify may transfer these Terms as part of a reorganization, sale, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable law.
